About the Role

We are seeking a traditional Mandarin language tutor for online sessions via Zoom video-conference. This part-time, freelance position involves teaching two children, aged 7 and 9, who are beginners in Mandarin. The sessions will be once per week, each 45 minutes long, for a total of 10 sessions. The motivation for learning is to connect with Taiwanese heritage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct online Mandarin language tutoring sessions via Zoom.

• Deliver 10 sessions, each 45 minutes long.
• Be available for a 30-minute trial session.

Requirements

• Be a native Chinese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Be available for a 30-minute trial session.
