About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to take ownership of accounting and finance work across a portfolio of growing companies. This role involves working directly with founders, senior finance professionals, and international clients to manage their finances and solve problems.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of technology and startup clients
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and management reporting
- Reconciliations and month-end and year-end close
- Supporting corporate and personal tax preparation and planning
- Supporting audit, review and compilation engagements
- Working directly with clients to answer questions and resolve accounting issues
- Keeping client deliverables moving and communicating when something needs attention
- Looking for ways to improve processes and build better, more scalable ways of working
- Supporting junior team members and working closely with our senior finance team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong full-cycle accounting experience
- Comfortable with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Ability to manage several clients and deadlines without losing track of the details
- Comfortable working directly with clients
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to investigate issues and help solve problems
- Willingness to suggest better ways of doing things
