About the Role

Join a high-growth organization in a pure hunter role, built for reps who want to build, own, and run their own market. You will acquire net-new organizations within a clearly defined, protected geographic territory, real density and real pipeline. Supported by a robust prospect account list, you will open doors, engage senior IT leaders, uncover business needs, and manage opportunities from initial outreach through close.

Responsibilities

  • Own a defined geographic territory like it's your business: build the plan, build the pipeline, build the results
  • Prospect through cold calling, email, social outreach, referrals, lead generation, and targeted outreach
  • Engage CIOs, senior IT leaders, and the executives who ultimately say yes, and get to the heart of their priorities and challenges fast
  • Lead consultative discovery that uncovers the real business problem, then connect it to Info-Tech's research, advisory services, tools, and expert guidance
  • Coordinate and deliver compelling sales presentations to senior decision-makers
  • Manage the complete new-business sales cycle, from initial outreach and qualification through negotiation and close
  • Maintain disciplined follow-up, activity tracking, pipeline management, and forecasting
  • Achieve and exceed established new-logo, revenue, and performance targets
  • Partner with the account management team to ensure a smooth transition following the sale

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Two or more years of frontline sales experience, ideally in a fast-paced B2B environment
  • A demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales targets and generate pipeline through proactive prospecting

  • Experience in advisory, information services, research, technology, or business services is an asset
