About the Role
The Brodsky Organization is seeking experienced, service-oriented Porters to join our team at one of our premier luxury high-rise residential properties in New York City. The Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the property while providing exceptional service to residents, guests, and visitors. A qualified candidate must show initiative and good judgement in performing assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all common areas and outdoor spaces.
- Support move-ins/move-outs and deliveries as directed.
- Collect and remove refuse and recycling in compliance with NYC sanitation guidelines.
- Monitor and report maintenance issues, unsafe conditions, or repair needs promptly.
- Assist with light maintenance duties.
- Perform additional porter and building service duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent).
- Previous porter, janitorial, custodial, or residential building experience preferred.
- Experience in luxury residential, condominium, cooperative or hospitality environments is a plus.
- Good verbal and interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and dependable.
