About the Role
Join GFT's Water Business Line team and contribute to innovative solutions for sustainable water management and infrastructure. This role offers a significant opportunity to leverage your design background to support project teams across North America, addressing municipal and industrial water and wastewater clients' regulatory needs within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively on multi-discipline and multi-company projects.
- Prepare three-dimensional models and renderings using Revit.
- Assemble and prepare design documents.
- Assist project managers with model presentations for project teams and client meetings.
- Complete Revit Project Setup.
- Download, review, and understand design drawings and models for accurate presentation and coordination.
- Communicate design changes and issues to the Project Manager and Design Team.
- Provide layouts for project structures, including Treatment Plants, lift stations, and pump stations, based on information from senior designers and Project Engineers.
- Take direction and participate in quality reviews of work products.
- Generate Revit content to expand the library of Revit families.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
- 10-15 years of experience with an emphasis in design and development of geotechnical deliverables including investigations, reports, drawings and specifications.
