About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Commercial Banking Relationship Manager for the ESOP Advisory Team within the Commercial Bank. This role focuses on developing, retaining, and growing complex client relationships by understanding client needs and acting as an advisor to guide and influence others.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, retain, and grow complex to highly complex client relationships by understanding needs, responding quickly, communicating proactively, managing expectations, and soliciting feedback.
  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop, influence, or lead the structuring, modification, and renewal of highly complex loans and industry-specific solutions.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution for a full suite of highly complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo to meet unique client needs.
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative business solutions within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group.
  • Strategically engage with all levels across the enterprise to improve processes, resolve client issues, and represent the company externally.
  • Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines.
  • Strategically support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients.
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on client and market needs for credit solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Skills

  • ESOP related sales or advisory experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending and treasury management
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects
  • Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships
  • Experience developing and maintaining external and internal partnerships
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
