About the Role

EY-Parthenon's Deal Technology practice works on complex global transactions, advising clients on strategy, transactions, and corporate finance. The team helps clients prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify value enhancement opportunities, and advise on risk mitigation and operational changes.

Responsibilities

  • Support and execute operational focused projects as a vital member of the team.
  • Assist with project execution across all sectors, supporting client service teams in developing and executing transaction strategies.
  • Develop experience in pre-deal activities like operational and carve-out planning.
  • Gain experience in post-deal activities such as integration planning and tracking.
  • Contribute to business development by assisting in pursuits and proposal development.
  • Participate in practice development initiatives to foster a positive team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics with 2 years of related work experience, or a graduate degree with approximately 18 months of related work experience.
  • Management consulting experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and adapt quickly to new challenges.
  • Solid negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Expertise in a minimum of 2 IT skillsets including IT strategy, enterprise architecture, digital technology strategy, digital IT operating model transformation, IT cost reduction, IT security, IT shared services, IT organization transformation, ERP implementation, digital business enablement, cloud SaaS/PaaS strategy and delivery, cloud IaaS migration planning and execution, IT service management and TSA development, IT finance management, IT infrastructure management, IT outsourcing/offshoring, IT contract management, IT Diligence, IT synergy identification, and data separation and transition.
  • Experience with and demonstrated success in at least one key business process such as procurement to pay, record to report, order to cash, plan to make, or hire to retire.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
  • Ability to travel beyond work location based on client and project needs.
