About the Role

Horizon Media is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Media Reconciliation Coordinator to ensure the financial accuracy of media campaigns. This role acts as a critical bridge between Investment, Operations, and Finance teams, reconciling broadcast media activity according to company policies and client contracts.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and clear broadcast media billing discrepancies in a timely fashion.
• Partner closely with the Investment & Activation Team to investigate, clarify, and resolve budgeting or billing variances.
• Utilize media management platforms (Media Ocean) to pull and review reports for campaign reconciliation.
• Act as liaison facilitating communication between Investment & Activation, Operations, and Finance teams regarding broadcast media reconciliation.
• Ensure reconciliation processes and timelines comply with client guidelines, internal policies, and contractual obligations.
• Meet regularly with the Investment & Activation team to share reconciliation progress and align on priorities.

Requirements

• Experience in media reconciliation, preferably within an agency environment.
• Demonstrated expertise with Media Ocean.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to spot discrepancies and resolve complex billing variances.
• Clear communicator, with the ability to translate financial data to actionable steps.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict financial deadlines.
• Deep understanding of the Canadian media landscape.
