About the Role

Mastercard Foundry builds next-generation offerings that engineer the future of commerce. The Innovation Manager role is a key part of the Commercial and New Payment Flows (CNPF) portfolio, focused on building new innovative solutions to address small business pain points.

Responsibilities

  • Help drive the generation and analysis of new concepts and solutions for CNPF, interfacing with internal product teams, customers, and end-users.
  • Own the development of concepts into commercial products, from concept through pilot, incubation and commercialization, leveraging the Foundry Engineering, Customer Research, and Experience Design teams.
  • Develop and own product roadmaps, pilot launch plans and business cases throughout the product development process.
  • Build relationships across the Global Products teams and Foundry teams to support the delivery of new products.
  • Support the ideation and development of a strong pipeline of Foundry projects leveraging internal and external relationships.
  • Uses a data-driven approach to assess market opportunities and to build business cases incorporating accurate representations of future revenues and expense bases.

Requirements

  • Experience in developing and commercializing new products.
  • Understanding of product development concepts and practices across the product development life cycle.
  • Experience in overseeing the rapid prototyping process for global/ multi-region products.
  • Demonstrated success in generating, structuring, evaluating, and promoting innovative ideas within an organization.
  • Able to build relationships and delivering results with global, multi-cultural and remote project teams.
  • Strong communication skills, able to articulate and where necessary simplify concepts and details.
  • A strong interest and understanding of the payments industry and/or working in a B2B2C ecosystem.
  • Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed.
  • Report any suspected information security violation or breach.
  • Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
