About the Role

As a Warehouse Clerk, you may work across shipping, receiving, and inventorying or be dedicated to a specific team.

Responsibilities

  • Unload, unpack, and inspect shipments of products.
  • Report any damage, missing items, or inconsistencies as directed.
  • Price items with appropriate mark-ups and label with size and color for inventory control.
  • Maintain the recycling program, collecting cardboard and placing in appropriate areas.
  • Assist in the maintenance of merchandise counts, daily records, and transfers within the inventory system.
  • Assist in physical inventories.
  • Inform supervisor of any low or over abundance in stock.
  • Ensure that all work areas are neat, clean and organized with strong attention to safety.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least one year’s experience working in a warehouse.
  • Experience receiving using a data entry system, inventorying, and shipping.
  • Computer knowledge and good communication skills.
  • Must possess basic math skills and can handle counts accurately.
  • Ability to carry and lift up to 55 pounds.
  • Ability to stand all day.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, carrying, walking, and reaching above the shoulders.
