About the Role

Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) sits at the heart of Sky's Change Delivery, connecting insight across change, product, and technology portfolios to create a unified view of priorities, risks, and dependencies. This role supports leaders with prioritization and investment decisions by providing analysis and shaping clear recommendations on trade-offs and their impact on business value. You will gain a comprehensive view of Sky's change agenda and influence prioritization.

Responsibilities

  • Synthesize information from portfolios, technology, and business teams to identify themes, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analyze portfolio plans, milestones, dependencies, and capacity to identify risks.
  • Identify, track, and coordinate dependencies, risks, and sequencing across portfolios and external partners, escalating issues and supporting resolution.
  • Translate complex portfolio information into clear narratives, presentations, and recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Support quarterly planning, prioritization, and investment reviews with analysis and insight.
  • Build relationships across Change Portfolios, Technology, Product, and Operations, challenging plans that may impact business outcomes.
  • Support improvements to EPM ways of working and the adoption of AI for increased efficiency and faster insight generation.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in portfolio management, with experience in Programme and project management, business planning, transformation, or consulting within a large or complex organization.
  • Proven ability to work across multiple teams, workstreams, or business areas, identifying dependencies, risks, and connections.
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience interrogating detailed and incomplete data from multiple sources.
  • Strong communication skills with senior audiences, including producing reporting, presentations, or written recommendations.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear and concise narratives.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, establish trust, and influence or constructively challenge senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience facilitating meetings, governance forums, planning sessions, or workshops.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and taking initiative to create clarity and make progress.
  • Commercially aware, understanding how change activity contributes to business performance and value.
  • Experience improving processes, reporting, or ways of working.
  • Openness to using AI to work more efficiently.
  • Appropriate right to work in the UK.
  • Criminal record check required upon successful application.
