About the Role
Gain practical experience in your field of study through an internship at Horizon, offering opportunities in various settings including outpatient clinics, residential facilities, and inpatient/detox facilities. You will be mentored by peer and/or program directors.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the provision of services to patients during treatment.
- Collaborate during case conferences to assist in patient treatment.
- Assist in care coordination.
- Draft progress notes.
- Assist with status updates, court reports, and the submission of Department of Social Services reports.
- Observe transfer requests and psychiatric referrals.
- Perform filing and other administrative duties.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a CRPA or MH peer certification is required.
- Utilize a personal email for application; constant and continuous access to the email is necessary.
