About the Role

The Village of Glendale Crossing has an exciting opportunity for a Food Service Aide to join their Long Term Care team, contributing to redefining elder care through innovation and culture change.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in serving meals and beverages to residents, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met while adhering to safe food handling practices.
  • Support a resident-centered social culture and deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Assist with the preparation of catering functions and events.
  • Maintain a clean dining room and workspace.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid Food Handlers certification.
  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and team members.
  • Able to lift up to 35lbs.
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
