About the Role
ComForCare is seeking compassionate and reliable male caregivers for immediate staffing opportunities in Manhattan. We have clients specifically seeking male aides for 12-hour day and overnight shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to build a consistent part-time or full-time schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on care and meaningful companionship based on each client’s needs
- Assist with dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Support ambulation around the house
- Encourage exercise and fluid intake
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Run errands for clients
- Provide transportation to appointments
- Offer companionship and conversation
Requirements
- Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification
- Full Physical Report and Drug Screening (within past 12 months)
- 2 professional reference letters (within past 3 years)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Empathy, reliability, and compassion
- Dementia care experience is a huge bonus
