About the Role

The Technology department supports the global content company by delivering a high-quality viewing experience, system infrastructure support, and creating innovative ways for employees to collaborate. Responsibilities

  • Operate, troubleshoot, and navigate all audio components of Entertainment TV programming with 10 years of experience in a broadcast audio environment.
  • Utilize Calrec Console experience; LAWO console experience is a plus.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of broadcast audio equipment and high-level audio concepts, including Consoles, Microphones (Lavalier, Handheld, Boom), Audio Routing, and AES, Madi, & Analog workflows.
  • Operate and program RTS ADAM/ODIN comms systems in live production environments, including AZ Edit configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with Audio Assists (A2s) and other audio mixers to check microphones and PA/Monitors daily in preparation for rehearsals and show tapings.
  • Demonstrate understanding of IP-based intercom and audio infrastructure, including RVON, trucking, and networked comms workflows.
  • Perform QC of all incoming footage and media, promptly relaying issues and collaborating with production and technical teams for resolution before live airings.

Requirements

  • Understanding of Calrec Console and its complexities in live production.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high quality and considering production needs.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate across operational, management, and technology layers.
  • Experience with audio standards and related infrastructure.
  • Ability to communicate with maintenance and engineering for updated technical documentation and workflow diagrams.
  • Ability to work with engineers to test and integrate new systems.
  • Current member, or willingness to join, IBEW union.
