About the Role
EnerSys Advanced Systems (EAS) is seeking individuals passionate about aerospace, defense, and medical industries to join their innovative, dynamic team. This role involves preparing shipments according to quality and industrial standards and maintaining the organization of the shipping area.
Responsibilities
- Assist to pack finished goods into unit package.
- Pick and pack unit packages into master containers.
- Print and verify label contents accuracy before applying to any container.
- Stack master containers onto pallets, banding and shrink wrapping to finalize pallets.
- Operate forklift and/or pallet jacks to move packed materials.
- Maintain and organize inventory of shipping materials and supplies, and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Input shipping information into Visual system or other carrier information systems, as required.
- Verify all documentation accurately according to specific shipment requirement.
- Report any damaged/missing products or shipping materials to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Certain positions require access to information or technology subject to ITAR. Candidates must be a 'U.S. Person' under ITAR or otherwise comply with ITAR requirements.
- 2+ years of experience as a Distribution Center Picker/Packer.
- Shipping experience preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
