About the Role
The Global & US Oncology Strategy & Operations Lead enables operating infrastructure, supports governance, operational cadence, and performance monitoring for the Solid Tumor Marketing organization. This role is an integral member of the Solid Tumor Marketing Leadership Team, reporting to the VP, Global & US Solid Tumor Marketing. The Lead supports the VP in marketing strategy, driving franchise performance, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Additionally, the Lead enhances team efficiency and culture by establishing and maintaining effective processes and ways of working within the Solid Tumor Marketing Team.
Responsibilities
- Build Marketing developmental focus areas with VP, and execute initiatives related to these focus areas for the marketing team to fortify team culture and ways of working
- Maintain platforms and processes that enable team transparency and effective coordination (e.g., central Marketing calendar, budget review processes)
- Establish and coordinate workstreams to develop and measure key performance indicators, including supporting evolution of analytics and insights reporting processes
- Manage recurring Marketing team meeting agenda and logistics, including Monthly Full Marketing Team meetings, Marketing Leadership meetings, and team building initiatives
- Support and lead special projects related to a variety of marketing initiatives
- Develop and support communication efforts within and outside of Commercial Business Unit
- Actively support continued evolution of worldwide commercial presence for product team, including supporting VP in regular communication with key international stakeholders
- Support VP in preparation for senior leadership reporting and presentation forums
- Support and build cross-functional relationships with key functional partners across the organization
- Maintain the highest ethical and compliance standards, personally and throughout the marketing team
- Handle and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required with preference for science background
- 10 years of biotech/pharma brand marketing or related experience
- Successful record of driving brand or organizational performance and effectively impacting commercial responsibilities
- Ability to communicate and act promptly; demonstrated initiative, creativity, and ability to work effectively in complex, rapidly changing environments
- Excellent planning, prioritization, communication, and presentation skills
- Comfortable working in ambiguity, growth mindset
- Strong integrity and ethics in behaviors, actions, and communications
- Working knowledge of how BioPharma commercial organizations are structured and planning cycles
Location
- Sleepy Hollow, NY
Work Type
- On-site (4 days a week)
- Travel US and globally as required 30-50%, some on weekends for conferences and meetings
