About the Role
Seeking an experienced technician focused on optimizing equipment and enhancing yield as a competitive advantage within a talented team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance following standard procedures.
- Respond to tool faults and assist in wafer recovery, including documentation and communication.
- Collaborate with Shift Supervisor to prioritize tool maintenance and PM scheduling.
- Resolve unplanned equipment issues and update documentation.
- Provide support for new equipment introductions.
- Monitor and respond to abnormal equipment signals.
- Correct and generate SOPs as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering staff on uptime and performance improvements.
- Evaluate and implement solutions to improve performance and reduce cost.
- Update maintenance procedures and train other technicians.
- Increase overall tool availability.
- Improve throughput by reducing equipment performance-related speed loss.
- Reduce wet clean downtime.
Requirements
- Two year technical degree or equivalent military experience.
- 5+ years direct applicable Etch semiconductor experience in a high volume manufacturing environment is highly desired.
