About the Role
This role will be a mix of event planning, project coordination, and business initiative support. The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual who enjoys being in the mix with stakeholders, coordinating multiple meetings and events simultaneously, and seeing the results of their efforts. You must be proactive and self-directed, collaborative and positive, reliable and accountable. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, works well with others, follows through on commitments, and takes ownership of their work.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate small- to medium-sized meetings or events for senior leadership and/or their management teams, as well as provide logistical support as needed
- Manage special projects for senior leadership and/or their management teams
- Research meeting and event-related vendors and resources
- Track projects, create electronic archives, and develop resource databases
- Provide back-up support to the Executive Assistant Team
Requirements
- 1-3 years of event coordination or event management experience
- 1-3 years of project coordination experience
- Proven experience initiating action when given ambiguous requirements
- Strong attention to detail throughout work
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience as an Administrative Assistant
- Experience with calendar management in a professional environment
