About the Role
Tagup is a defense technology company using AI to optimize logistics. This is a '0 to 1' role where you will architect the core platform that ingests, processes, and acts on billions of data points from the physical world, offering an opportunity to escape the service team grind.
Responsibilities
- Optimize complex NL queries and time-series data storage for sub-second latency for AI models.
- Design and implement high-performance REST APIs and microservices for the Manifest platform.
- Build robust ETL pipelines for high-frequency sensor data ingestion from diverse industrial assets.
- Implement sophisticated monitoring, alarming, and automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure 99.99% availability.
- Mentor junior engineers and set the standard for code quality and design patterns.
Requirements
- Ability to operate at scale.
- Treat architecture as an evolving entity that adapts to customer scaling and changing needs.
- Understand 'Scale' vs. 'Complexity', recognizing scale involves handling complex data relationships.
