About the Role

Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment is seeking an Account Manager, Partnership Marketing to manage and grow a portfolio of partner accounts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a team player, and eager to learn about activation best practices and partner marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, renew, and grow high-profile accounts, including implementing partnership assets, creating and activating promotions, and overseeing hospitality packages, community programs, media, and signage.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for various accounts and initiatives.
  • Establish relationships with sponsors and media partners.
  • Collaborate with Partnership Development and Brand & Partner Solutions teams to incorporate inventory into renewal/upsell packages.
  • Develop, improve, and renew partner relationships by exceeding contractual deliverables and identifying opportunities for incremental value.
  • Present ideas and opportunities to grow partner businesses by staying current with market goals, objectives, and the competitive landscape.
  • Partner with other departments on sponsored programs, including game presentation, community relations, and ticketing.
  • Attend Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center events to host sponsors, lead in-arena promotion execution, and support departmental events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2-4 years of partnership account management experience required.
  • Proven record of hitting goals/budgets.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft suite.
  • May be required to travel on rare occasions (<5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.

Salary/Compensations

  • $75,000 - $80,000 base salary, plus commission potential
