About the Role
We are seeking a visionary Senior Product Manager for Safety to lead the digital transformation of easyJet's safety-critical software. This high-impact role involves owning the technology, data, and AI roadmap to protect passengers, crew, and fleet, replacing manual processes with a real-time, automated, predictive safety intelligence platform.
Responsibilities
- Define the long-term strategic roadmap for complex safety platforms, balancing innovation with strict budgets.
- Guide agile, cross-functional squads of tech engineers, analysts, and delivery partners.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior flight safety, ground safety, security, and compliance leaders.
- Manage product backlogs to directly optimize metrics like safety event response times and risk exposure.
- Protect operational integrity under the scrutiny of top regulatory bodies (EASA, UK CAA).
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Senior Product Manager in complex, operational, or safety-critical technology ecosystems.
- Mastery of agile product delivery lifecycles alongside multidisciplinary tech teams.
- Deep experience utilizing risk, safety, or compliance analytics to drive roadmap decisions.
- Direct familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and frameworks like EASA or UK CAA is a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills to successfully navigate and unite senior executive stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a track record of building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
