About the Role

Advantech Industries Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to develop detailed work instructions, ensure product manufacturing aligns with customer specifications, and support efficient, accurate, and repeatable production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed work instructions for each job.
  • Ensure all products are manufactured in strict accordance with customer-supplied designs and specifications.
  • Support overall quality and operational objectives by ensuring efficient, accurate, and repeatable production processes.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations including CNC machining (mills and lathes), sheet metal fabrication (press brakes, lasers, and turret punches), welding, and mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to function as a member of a customer-driven quality team with limited supervision.
  • Superior communication skills and ability to develop teamwork among staff.
  • Diplomatic and possess good human interaction skills.
  • Accountable for meeting project outcome commitments.
  • Ability to multitask using appropriate priority setting.
  • Maintain adequate performance and motivation for routine, repetitive, and/or non-stimulating tasks.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, adhere to deadlines, and be flexible.
  • Thorough operational knowledge and skills of specific equipment.
  • Ability to operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to keep a record of time spent and material used.
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read drawings and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with common machine tools.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Green Card Holder.
