About the Role

Bedrock's Community Directors are essential to the property's overall success, leading day-to-day operations while ensuring resident satisfaction. This role oversees property staff, vendor relations, property maintenance, financial reporting, and leasing and financial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee property staff and manage vendor relations.
  • Ensure timely property maintenance and resolve issues.
  • Provide financial reporting and oversee leasing and financial goals.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to residents, proactively solving issues.
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment for all residents.
  • Steward the financial management of the community by creating, reviewing, and submitting required daily and weekly reports.
  • Ensure all team members abide by federal fair housing standards and all other applicable laws.
  • Mentor team and staff, inspiring them to give their best and develop professional skills.
  • Provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate company requirements and announcements.
  • Operate computers and other technological devices on site.
  • Maintain resident files in electronic and/or hardcopy format with utmost confidentiality.
  • Train and supervise onsite staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Model core values in all interactions.
  • Drive property performance by participating in resident events, marketing the property, and focusing on resident retention.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum (2) years of multi-family property management experience required.
  • Previous experience leading a team to meet success through positive motivation, goal setting, and accountability.
  • Frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary.
