About the Role

Aon Japan provides various risk management solutions primarily to Japanese global companies. The Casualty & Financial Lines department offers specialized teams for liability insurance, representation and warranty insurance, credit insurance, and other risk consulting services. Specialists, consultants, and engineers actively support sales teams by delivering advanced risk services to drive new business and retain/grow existing accounts, aiming to achieve financial goals. Services include insurance contract analysis, innovative insurance program design, risk engineering, TCoR analysis, risk tolerance analysis, captive feasibility studies, captive management, captive consulting, and ERM consulting.

Responsibilities

Provide various risk management consulting services to clients.
Develop tailored risk solution plans that meet client needs.
Offer improvement advice and risk solution services based on the client's risk management framework.
Evaluate and analyze the client's risk management framework.
Support the planning and implementation of projects to build/improve the client's risk management framework and provide ongoing support.
Involve in the development and continuous improvement of the client's internal risk reporting mechanisms and provide advice.
Assist in identifying, analyzing, and resolving client risk management challenges.
Provide risk engineering services.
Offer technical advice on risk quality, loss estimation, and loss prevention measures.
Conduct on-site surveys and business reviews.
Calculate Probable Maximum Loss (PML) for fire/explosion, wind/flood, and earthquake risks.
Conduct advanced data analysis in collaboration with the Aon Global Risk Consulting team and catastrophe modeling specialists.
Continuously and timely evolve and deepen knowledge of insurance and risk solutions required by clients.
Comply with Aon's global and Japan compliance requirements.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the company.

Requirements

Business-level English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
In-depth knowledge of ERM fundamental principles and GRC concepts.
Knowledge and practical experience with risk management and internal control frameworks such as COSO and ISO.
Work experience in evaluating, designing, and implementing risk management programs, including risk governance, risk assessment, strategic business planning, and integration of risk management functions.
Practical experience as a risk management consultant or in a professional role providing services to clients.
Ability to perform the duties of this position.
Ability to undertake long-term business trips both domestically in Japan and internationally.
