About the Role
Responsible for performing independent quality checks, developing methods for measuring functional testing quality and performance, and coordinating testing activities to identify issues, trends, and gaps. Provides independent assessments and feedback to management, and collaborates on test plans and strategies. Updates testing metrics and leads defect meetings when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Writes test cases based on requirements and user stories.
- Performs manual testing.
- Creates and loads testing plans and test cases into appropriate tools.
- Participates in defect meetings and project plan routines.
- Presents analysis on current and re-tested defects.
- Sources, compiles, and interprets data.
- Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicates analysis output effectively.
- Contributes to risk mitigation through thorough testing and quality checks of programs, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 6 years' experience in Quality Assurance experience in a Financial Services organization.
