About the Role
The House Manager supervises the delivery of care coordination services to children with a history of substance abuse, including those with specialized needs like chronic medical conditions and mental health issues. This role assumes overall responsibility for the facility in the absence of the Site Director and Clinical Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical case-management supervision to case managers of the Community Residence.
- Offer counseling and support to enhance clients’ capacity to benefit from treatment regimen.
- Perform crisis intervention to assist clients in dealing with sanctions and barriers to employment and self-sufficiency.
- Engage in community outreach to locate appropriate clients and assist them through the enrollment process.
- Provide assessment and support services to facilitate access to specialized services such as Mental Health, Social Security Disability, and Veteran’s Resources.
- Assist in facilitating access to job training, job search activities, placement, and stabilization.
- Perform advocacy and report on client activity.
- Adhere to agency protocols for maintenance and security of agency equipment.
- Act as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and participate in weekly case conferences.
- Ensure accuracy of treatment plans and the delivery of clinical services.
- Develop clinical programming appropriate to the needs of the population.
Requirements
- 2-3 Years of experience in a substance abuse setting.
- Experience providing clinical supervision in a residential setting.
- Extensive knowledge of community resources available to clients diagnosed with substance use disorders, mental health disorders, chronic medical conditions, and veterans.
- Unwavering commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation.
- Ability to manage, coach, and develop high-performance teams that achieve program objectives.
- Ability to work effectively in collaboration with a diverse interdisciplinary team.
- Action-oriented, adaptable, and innovative approach to program planning.
