About the Role
A 57-year-old man living in the Fayetteville area is looking for a direct support professional to assist him with pursuing his hobbies, providing support while navigating his community, improving his social skills, and teaching skills for independent living. This individual is hoping to find more opportunities to connect with others in the community. He wishes to be able to have more friends and without the support from his DSP he can become too shy to reach out to anyone new. Attending Indera hosted events and finding local events of his interest would be beneficial for him. In addition to improving his social skills, this man would like assistance with maintaining his home and being provided with reminders to complete chores such as laundry and grocery shopping.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work independently in the person’s home and/or community
- Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills
- New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required
- Acceptable driving record required
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required
- Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time
- Must abide by Indera's technology policy
