Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Management teams, including workload allocation, staffing, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Own the end-to-end flow of materials through receiving, inspection, storage, picking, kitting, line-side delivery, staging, and outbound shipment.

  • Approve timecards, manage team schedules, conduct performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to direct reports.
  • Build standard operating procedures, standard work, and management systems that improve safety, accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Conduct regular safety walkthroughs, address identified hazards, support area audits, and ensure compliance with applicable safety and transportation requirements.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas through continuous improvement and thoughtful workspace design.
  • Foster a high-accountability operating culture in which ideas are evaluated rigorously and implemented when they improve safety, quality, cost, or delivery.
