About the Role
This role is an integral part of the Institutional Product Marketing team, focusing on developing impactful sales materials by crafting messaging around product selling points, market themes, and competitive advantages. The candidate will concentrate on product marketing for the infrastructure and real assets business, leading product launches and fundraising support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join an established team in a dynamic and growth-driving area of the business.
Responsibilities
- Build and implement marketing content for new product launches, including participation in product planning, development and execution of communication plans, and production of materials.
- Support end-to-end product launch workflows by leading the development of core launch deliverables such as the presentation, factsheet, DDQ, PPM content, and other items as needed.
- Drive conversations with key partners to define product messaging across all marketing collateral.
- Conduct competitor and market research to inform product positioning and messaging.
- Work closely with product specialists, investment, operations, IR, compliance, data, and legal teams.
- Develop content for external webcasts, events, product insights, and sales emails to facilitate communication between launches and contribute to product fundraising efforts.
- Own the execution of targeted GTM initiatives for assigned strategy(s) aligned to strategic firmwide priorities.
- Own messaging frameworks, archetype narratives, and insight materials.
- Work with external legal counsel on materials supporting launches and fund closes including PPM supplements.
- Ensure a consistent message, tone, and brand across all marketing materials.
- Perform other responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- Experience generating sales collateral for complex investment concepts into engaging content.
- Ability to drive conversations with key partners around messaging, marketing collateral, and investment themes.
- Strong content development and project management experience, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
- Outstanding collaboration skills, working optimally across functions and with partners at all levels of the organization.
- High level of initiative and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
- Very detail-oriented.
- Possesses a sense of humor, is a great teammate, and is upbeat.
- Experience developing marketing materials and content with an institutional asset management focus.
- Solid understanding of marketing communication practices and relationship management process.
- Demonstrated comfort delivering guidance to senior partners and investment professionals.
- Solid knowledge of financial markets; infrastructure and real assets experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with investment concepts and high level of comfort with numbers and analysis.
- Familiarity and understanding of nuances within private markets clients.
- Proven business writing ability with excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
- Maintain a strong attention to detail and quality control across all deliverables.
