About the Role

We have an opportunity for a Cleaning Technician to join our team working at Blackwall Reach Estate in London. You will join a team of 5 to deliver grounds, caretaking and cleaning duties across the development which consists of 11 buildings, a play area and grounds. We are looking for a reliable team player who can deliver a high-quality service that meets the needs of our customers. The role will be a mix of team and lone working.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and report any hazards and faults to ensure a safe environment is maintained
  • Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed
  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and continue to be suitable for required tasks
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure requisitions are completed and authorised in a timely manner
  • Undertake cleaning duties in accordance with local and legislative procedures, serving as a first point of contact
  • Assist customers and respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet their expectations in accordance with service standards
  • Contribute, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group's values and objectives

Requirements

  • Literacy and numeracy equivalent to grade C GCSE English and Maths
  • British Institute Certificate in cleaning services or willing to work towards
  • Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties

Salary/Compensations

  • £29,906 per year
