About the Role

As a Partner on our service counters, you'll demonstrate your knowledge and passion for food, feeling proud of its ethical sourcing and recommending recipes. You'll build lasting customer relationships, maximize sales and profit, and be part of a founding team for a new Waitrose branch in Cricklewood. This role involves working on Bakery, Meat and Fish, Cheese prep, and Branch Cook.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for your own food counter ensuring the highest presentation and hygiene standards.
  • Stay on top of stock levels, ensuring products are available when needed.
  • Exercise care when working with open food, following all due diligence and health & safety protocols.
  • Reduce food wastage.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products and Waitrose's food values.
  • Support the wider shop team with general shopkeeping tasks.

Requirements

  • Communication skills to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work early starts from 5 am to late finishes of 23:45.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment vetting, which may include DBS checks.
