About the Role

The Heavy Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all public and non-public areas according to casino standards, operating various cleaning machines and equipment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the casino using various cleaning machines and equipment.
• Carry out individual assignments and work with a group.
• Work with various cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons.
• Maintain a professional work environment.
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to policies.
• Complete all required SGC Training programs.
• Attend all necessary meetings.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiar with proper use of all cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Knowledge in the operation of cleaning machines such as buffers, burnishers, carpet cleaning machines, escalator cleaning machines and other miscellaneous cleaning equipment.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
• Ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees.
• Ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
• Required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Must be able to perform heavy lifting.
• Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment.
