About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead strategic product domains, identifying problems and delivering measurable customer and commercial outcomes. You will combine product discovery with delivery leadership, using customer insight, data, experimentation, and commercial evidence to shape product direction and prioritize investment. You will collaborate with Product Design, Engineering, Data, and business stakeholders to create empowered, outcome-focused teams and enhance product practices.
Responsibilities
- Own product direction for your domain or Value Stream, aligned to TGG strategy, customer needs and commercial goals.
- Translate strategy into clear outcomes, opportunities and priorities, rather than simply features or projects.
- Build evidence-led roadmaps and make clear prioritisation and investment recommendations, balancing value, strategic fit, feasibility and confidence.
- Define meaningful success measures and use KPIs and OKRs to understand product health and drive measurable improvement.
- Lead continuous discovery, using research, data and operational insight to identify and deeply understand problems and opportunities.
- Work as part of a Product Trio with Design and Engineering to explore opportunities, challenge assumptions and shape potential solutions.
- Use experimentation, prototyping and testing to validate assumptions and reduce uncertainty before significant investment.
- Turn validated opportunities into clear product direction, hypotheses and outcomes that enable teams to design and deliver effectively.
- Lead cross-functional teams through delivery, maintaining focus on the customer and commercial outcomes.
- Provide sufficient clarity for teams to execute effectively, translating product direction into initiatives, epics and stories.
- Measure the impact of releases, using evidence and learning to determine next steps.
- Champion continuous optimisation, recognising that releasing a feature is the start of learning.
- Connect product decisions to TGG’s key customer and commercial outcomes, including acquisition, revenue, retention, engagement and lifetime value.
- Combine customer research, behavioural data, analytics and commercial evidence to inform decisions and prioritisation.
- Build a deep understanding of member journeys, behaviours and operational context.
- Develop compelling business cases and investment recommendations for significant product opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships across Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Technology, creating alignment.
- Influence senior stakeholders through clear, evidence-based recommendations and navigate competing priorities.
- Role-model strong product practice and mentor other Product Managers.
- Contribute to TGG’s Product Playbook and ways of working, championing a culture of curiosity, experimentation and evidence-led decision making.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager, Product Lead or equivalent, owning meaningful digital products, propositions or product domains.
- Strong experience across the full product lifecycle, with demonstrated capability in both discovery and delivery.
- Strong discovery skills, including problem framing, customer research, opportunity assessment, experimentation and validation.
- Experience using qualitative and quantitative evidence to make product decisions and measure outcomes.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect product opportunities to measurable business value and build compelling investment cases.
- Experience developing product strategies, roadmaps and prioritisation decisions based on evidence and strategic objectives.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with Product Design, Engineering, Data and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders and navigating ambiguity.
- Experience mentoring Product Managers and contributing to the development of product practice.
