About the Role
St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY is seeking an experienced RN for the C3 Patient Logistics team. This full-time day position offers training for the right candidate who meets minimum requirements and demonstrates a desire to learn and grow. The role is crucial for patient care and offers opportunities for career progression within a supportive healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive calls throughout the organization and externally to facilitate patient admissions.
- Triage incoming calls.
- Problem-solve and utilize critical thinking skills to deescalate situations, maintain customer service, and ensure patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Case Management team to ensure timely and accurate patient processing.
- Travel to Samaritan and Albany Memorial Hospitals as needed, primarily during orientation.
Requirements
- Current and valid NYS RN license.
- Bachelor of Science in nursing, or a willingness to pursue a defined plan for matriculation demonstrated by ongoing coursework each semester.
- 3 years of experience in an acute setting (critical care preferred).
- Ability to orient during the week, Monday-Friday, on a flexible day schedule.
