About the Role
A PCS pump engineer owns a fleet of vacuum pumps in the subfab, monitoring their health, identifying performance issues, and implementing solutions. The role involves analyzing large volumes of data against statistical limits, managing spare pump inventory for business continuity, and overseeing onsite contractors for pump maintenance. The overall objective is to understand pump failures and implement improvement projects.
Responsibilities
- Measuring and documenting the performance of equipment
- Analyzing sensor data and deriving predictive models and forecasts for failure
- Maintaining procedures used to repair/replace equipment
- Identifying and implementing improvements to extend life or upgrade quality of equipment based on KPI impact
- Understanding technical design of equipment and perform troubleshooting of failures
Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering experience, manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with vacuum pumps is highly preferred
- Experience in SCADA systems, or similar concept
- Experience in vendor/contractor management

- $95,000 - $120,000
