About the Role

Facilitate, supervise, and conduct regional repair of Encore owned equipment. Responsible for implementing and overseeing daily and quarterly equipment repair and quality control processes. Conducts product research, performs quality control checks, purchases shop items, and provides reporting on repair metrics. May supervise a Repair Technician.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform technical and cosmetic repair and maintenance on Encore equipment and road cases.
• Support all Quality Control processes and procedures.
• Develop and implement a service/maintenance tracking and reporting system, ensuring repair progress is documented and reported, and ensuring compliance to manufacturer/warranty policy.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and order necessary parts to complete repairs.
• Establish and provide reporting on key repair metrics and ROI.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Report all HSE issues to the Warehouse Manager and HSE Manager.
• Provide excellent service and strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
• Maintain positive relationships with Encore hotel teams through effective communication and satisfactory service.
• Perform annual physical inventory of equipment.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
• Understand company processes, follow procedures, and complete systems entry and paperwork accurately.
• Interact with other staff, internal customers, and outside vendors.
• Manage system generated pick-lists and order entry as necessary.
• Manage the service module in the system.

Requirements

• 1-2 years technical repair experience, preferably in the audio visual industry.
• Ability to take direction and communicate with managers and subordinates.
