About the Role
Engage collaboratively in a proficient and varied interdisciplinary inpatient team to evaluate, oversee, and provide support to individuals primarily facing challenges related to musculoskeletal, amputee, stroke, geriatric and complex continuing care populations.
Responsibilities
- Patient education, assessment, and treatment.
- Disseminate knowledge to patients, families, and colleagues.
- Foster productive connections across various personnel tiers and roles within an interdisciplinary team.
- Adapt to a versatile work timetable while upholding a client-centered service ethos and advisory demeanor.
- Design and adapt patient treatment plans.
- Engage in continuous professional growth, including active participation in relevant committees.
- Contribute to service planning and timely comprehensive completion of clinical documentation and workload statistics.
- Train and oversee students and volunteers, cooperating with peers and facilitating student education.
- Participate in Inter-professional Rounds and committees.
- Involve in clinical evaluations.
- Contribute to the advancement of professional practice and services.
- Provide coverage in various areas of the organization as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, or an equivalent qualification.
- Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Ability to attain a minimum score of 80% on the FIM certification exam during the probationary period and subsequent recertification exams if interested in working within specific rehabilitation units.
- Current UHN employees must have successfully completed their probationary period, have a good employee record along with satisfactory attendance in accordance with UHN's attendance management program, to be eligible for consideration.
- Criminal Record Check may be required.

Experience Level

Salary/Compensations
- CAD 40.36 - CAD 56.30 per hour
