About the Role
St. John's Protective Services Team provides safety and protection to residents, visitors, and employees. This role responds to emergency and non-emergency calls for service and conducts facility and grounds safety checks.
Responsibilities
- Performs all duties of a Protective Services Officer.
- Performs Patrols of Campus.
- Answers calls for Service.
- Investigates complaints.
- Responds to medical and fire alarms.
- Prepares logs and Reports.
Requirements
- NYS Security Guard Card certification and experience required.
- Valid NYS driver’s license with ability to meet agency driving standards required.
- Basic computer knowledge.
Skills
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

- Associate's degree in Police Science, Criminal Justice, or a related field
