About the Role
MobilityWorks is seeking a Service Manager to empower wheelchair users with mobility and independence. The role offers a healthy work-life balance with regular business hours, valuing team member contributions and commitment to the company's mission and core values.
Responsibilities
- Daily review of the schedule in SalesForce.
- Schedule all production, service, and maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate incoming production jobs with the sales team, notifying them about scheduling, delivery, and installation demos.
- Review all files before commencing installations, including approving hours, applications, fitting times, alignment requirements, and parts concerns.
- Document serial numbers in files and complete necessary warranty cards during the production process.
- Manage all aspects of customer write-ups and interactions, including pre-printing orders using the service scheduler.
- Monitor stock units and daily posting of labor times in DSI for ongoing jobs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and participate in audits.
- Schedule and conduct monthly service meetings involving all technicians and the general manager.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years of experience in automotive repair management.
- Proficiency in electrical and/or automotive wiring.
- Exceptional customer service skills and prior experience in this area.
