About the Role
These roles offer an opportunity to work in a professional security environment focused on safety, access control, and customer service at a client site in Clifton Park, NY.
Responsibilities
- Control access to the facility and monitor vehicle drop-offs and pickups.
- Monitor and manage the secure entry and exit of trucks and visitors.
- Conduct vehicle and foot patrols throughout the property.
- Log activities, transactions, and incidents using both written documentation and electronic systems.
- Complete clear, accurate, and professional incident reports.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Operate security-related technology and systems.
- Perform duties outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Provide leadership and direction to on-site Security Officers, assist with training, and support daily site operations (Shift Lead position).
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Valid NYS Driver's License required and ability to qualify for Safe Drive certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or confrontational situations.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Reliable transportation is required, as public transit may not align with shift hours.
- All candidates must possess a valid NYS Driver's License and be able to meet Securitas Safe Drive Program requirements, as client vehicles may be used for patrol duties.
