About the Role

Act as the trusted operational partner for enterprise customers using managed cyber security services. Own service governance, customer success, continual improvement, and major incident coordination to strengthen customer security posture and ensure exceptional service delivery. This role combines cyber security expertise, customer engagement, and service leadership across SOC, SIEM, MDR, threat intelligence, and incident response services.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary customer contact for managed cyber security services.
  • Lead service reviews, governance meetings, and operational forums with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Ensure services are delivered in line with contractual commitments, SLAs, and customer expectations.
  • Translate complex security data into meaningful business insights, recommendations, and executive reports.
  • Drive Customer Success Plans and Continuous Service Improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor service performance across SOC, SIEM, MDR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence services.
  • Coordinate the response to major security incidents, managing communications, escalations, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Identify security risks, trends, and opportunities to improve customer security maturity.
  • Partner with technical, commercial, and solution teams to enhance service quality and customer outcomes.
  • Support service growth and retention by identifying opportunities to deliver additional value.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in a Security Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Cyber Operations Manager, SOC Manager, or similar customer-facing cyber security role.
  • Strong understanding of managed cyber security services, including SOC, SIEM, MDR, EDR/XDR, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Experience managing enterprise or multinational customer relationships within a cyber security or managed services environment.
  • Proven ability to lead customer service reviews, governance meetings, and executive stakeholder discussions.
  • Experience managing escalations, major incidents, and post-incident improvement activities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret security data and produce actionable recommendations.
  • Experience producing executive reports, security performance updates, risk summaries, and service improvement plans.
  • Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
  • Experience working within a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) environment.
  • CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC, or equivalent cyber security certifications.
  • ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, Lead Auditor, or ISO 27005 certifications.
  • ITIL certification.
  • GIAC, CREST, or vendor-specific certifications within SIEM, EDR/XDR, or cloud security technologies.
  • Experience supporting service growth, commercial discussions, and customer success programs.
