About the Role

UK Safety Management is seeking a reliable, motivated, and technically minded Emergency Lighting Engineer to conduct inspections, testing, and servicing of emergency lighting systems at various client sites. This role offers the opportunity to work independently, travel to different locations, and receive comprehensive training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection, testing, and servicing of emergency lighting systems.
• Work in accordance with BS 5266-1 and relevant industry standards.
• Identify faults, defects, and issues within emergency lighting systems.
• Accurately record inspection and testing results.
• Complete reports and certification.
• Clearly communicate any faults or recommendations to customers.
• Represent UK Safety Management professionally on client sites.

Requirements

• Previous emergency lighting experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
• Comfortable driving and travelling between different sites.
• Happy working independently and spending most of the day on the road.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Technically minded with a willingness to learn.
• Confident communicating with customers.
• Comfortable working across a variety of environments.
• Organised and accurate with paperwork and reports.
• Keen to develop a career within the electrical and fire safety industry.
• Attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
