About the Role
Our successful Morton's Server promotes outstanding relations with all guests and fellow Team Members by providing service in a friendly, swift, and responsible manner. They thrive in a team-based environment where everyone consistently uplifts and supports each other through detail-oriented work and regularly doing what it takes to ensure all necessary work is completed.
Responsibilities
- Greeting guests in a friendly and timely manner at the table.
- Taking orders and entering them into the computer.
- Placing orders in the kitchen by writing and entering on the register system.
- Retrieving and delivering entrees, sides, and sauces.
- Periodically returning to the table to follow up on service and food.
- Operating the POS System and making accurate cash and financial transactions.
- Warmly thanking guests and delivering checks, after ensuring complete satisfaction.
- Accurately recording all F&B revenues and corresponding receipt of money, credit cards, complimentaries, and coupon settlements.
- Relaying all guest compliments and complaints to management.
- Delivering food to hotel rooms as needed by management.
- Performing all other duties as assigned.
- Promoting outstanding relations with all guests and peers.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Able to lift and carry 30 lbs. repeatedly.
- Able to stand and walk for 6-8 hours.
- Ability to work flexible schedules due to the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
