About the Role

This 12-month fixed-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to assist the IS Infrastructure and Service Delivery team with contract administration and financial management. The role is vital in ensuring the optimal set-up, maintenance, and termination of IT contracts for Eurostar's advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Raise POs for the team and ensure timely receipting POs to facilitate invoice payment.
  • Track all POs raised and update records regularly for accuracy.
  • Help review monthly financial spend reports to ensure accurate expenditure accounting.
  • Review monthly telephony-related costs and raise queries to suppliers as appropriate.
  • Maintain and update the master contracts register.
  • Produce quarterly contract renewal details for service owners' review, renewal, or termination.
  • Update progress status on contract renewals/terminations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an up-to-date supplier contact list.
  • Support the Project Manager in capturing and understanding project requirements.
  • Analyze solution options and assist with procurement processes.
  • Plan project activities using various tools and methods.
  • Provide project reporting.
  • Build relationships with other teams and act as a point of contact for their needs.
  • Help manage the handover from projects to BAU support teams.

Requirements

  • A degree in a finance-related discipline.
  • Organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Financial management skills: Experience in financial accounting and forecasting.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • Business knowledge and commercial awareness.
  • Influencing and negotiation skills, commercial awareness.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
  • General computer skills including MS Word and Excel.
