About the Role
Take-Two Interactive is seeking a Paralegal to provide administrative and paralegal support to their immigration team. This role involves partnering with external immigration providers and internal HR to support employees requiring work authorization. The Paralegal will manage North American employee immigration files and serve as a point of contact for employees, external counsel, and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day case processing for routine business immigration matters in the US and Canada, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, PERM, and I-140 petitions (US), and Canadian work permit applications and employment-based Permanent Residence applications.
- Initiate and track matters with external counsel for new hires, intra-company transfers, labor certifications, and employment-based immigrant applications.
- Provide regular case updates to employees and stakeholders via email, HR trackers, and status calls.
- Guide employees on immigration processes, required documentation, and timelines.
- Act as a resource for HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and external counsel on general workflow processes.
- Prepare immigration-related letters and documents that comply with country-specific immigration or entry requirements.
- Perform research to support immigration cases, including background on specializations or industries, current wages, processing procedures, processing speed options, and consular processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 2-3 years of Canadian and US immigration law experience.
- In-house legal experience highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
- Attention to detail and thorough documentation skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Broad knowledge of current events and pop culture.
- Passion for video games highly desirable.
