About the Role
People in Deals (PiD) is a market-leading team within PwC's M&A Operations Deals business, advising clients across the M&A cycle, including integration and transformation. We help organizations put people at the heart of M&A activity to achieve deal value.
Responsibilities
- Support specific workstreams within client engagements, delivering high-quality advice and analysis on people issues across the deal lifecycle.
- Drive project management and commercial delivery within client engagements to ensure seamless execution and impactful client outcomes.
- Build and manage strong client relationships, influencing stakeholders and supporting business development through proposals, thought leadership, and sector insights.
- Manage and coach junior team members, providing feedback and guidance to develop their skills and ensure quality delivery.
- Work effectively in fast-paced, deal-driven environments, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Contribute to practice development initiatives, including proposition development, knowledge sharing, and team growth.
Requirements
- Experience in deals or transformation is beneficial but not essential.
- Knowledge of workforce impacts and priorities in transactions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to leverage AI and digital tools to enhance analysis, improve efficiency, and deliver innovative solutions to clients.
- Some experience of coaching others and fostering collaboration across teams to achieve successful outcomes.
- Experience in consulting or professional services would be advantageous, but not essential.
