About the Role
This role focuses on driving operational improvements through the implementation and management of various systems including clean inspect and lube, centerline management, 5S, process data integrity, and scrap elimination. The employee will lead transformation analysis, develop standard operating procedures, and coach teams on problem-solving methodologies to enhance efficiency and yield.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate line loss analysis for waste elimination and yield improvement.
- Lead transformation analysis and centerline definition with associated standard development.
- Analyze daily and shift line data to identify and prioritize loss elimination opportunities.
- Participate in internal audit programs, food safety committee, and sanitary design team.
- Gather information on stops, centerlines, and changeovers by spending time on the production floor.
- Investigate the root cause of top stops.
- Develop daily plans for ownership areas.
- Attend Level 2 and DDS meetings.
- Discuss top stops and root causes, establishing countermeasures in the daily plan.
- Ensure centerline completion and compliance, creating countermeasures for any outages.
- Collaborate with Process Owner and Maintenance Lead to address sporadic losses.
- Lead Universal Problem Solving to eliminate chronic losses.
- Manage centerline and Quality Daily Management Systems.
- Comply with GMP, Housekeeping guidelines, and QRMP operating procedures.
- Assist in QRMP program implementation and train new associates.
- Ensure equipment and machinery are cleaned and sanitized according to the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program.
- Ensure all manufactured products comply with the Quality Assurance Program and policies.
- Follow Kraft Heinz Safety Process fundamentals and adhere to LOTO policy and procedures.
Requirements
- AM Step 2 qualified or demonstrate expertise in CIL, Basic Problem Solving (6W, 2H).
- Capable of learning intermediate Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word, Matrix and ZPI skills.
- Strong planning/organizational skills and communication skills.
- Ability to understand and coach management systems including CIL, CLM and 5S.
- Ability to understand and write WINs, SOPs and OPLs.
- Can effectively lead RCFA events.
- Flexibility to adjust shift schedule to work with employees on other shifts as required.
- Willingness to become Centerline Management System qualified within one month.
- Willingness to become Green Belt qualified within one year.
- Works overtime as necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Weekend, overtime, and holiday work will be required.
- Work on all shifts expected.
- Schedule is based on a 7 day/week production; therefore, workdays may fluctuate from week to week based on production.
