About the Role

This role is a trusted guide for clients, delivering everyday banking with accuracy and confidence while helping clients feel informed, supported, and empowered to achieve their financial goals. You will be the first point of contact for clients, serving as the hospitality ambassador of the bank location.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the hospitality ambassador of the bank location, seamlessly guiding traffic flow while delivering a high touch client experience.
  • Deliver accurate, efficient everyday banking transactions while deepening relationships by proactively identifying needs and opportunities.
  • Educate clients on appropriate products and self-serve solutions.
  • Recommend solutions for turning routine client transactions into meaningful moments.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of basic banking products and services to evaluate and recommend client solutions.
  • Perform a broad range of client transactions and multi-step activities within established financial limits.
  • Identify and assess client problems in straightforward situations using standard procedures and escalate non-standard issues internally.
  • Manage client flow (in-person and phone), serving as the first point of contact for client inquiries, issue resolution, and referrals.
  • Deliver consistent, relationship-driven client experiences aligned to TD’s service strategy.
  • Create personalized, client-first interactions that establish trust and strengthen ongoing relationships.
  • Balance client needs with sound judgment, policy adherence, and risk awareness.
  • Educate clients on banking products, services, and digital capabilities.
  • Connect clients to specialists as needed to achieve long-term goals.
  • Demonstrate empathy, integrity, and a long-term perspective in all interactions.
  • Maintain compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations.
  • Safeguard the integrity of the client relationship by operating within compliance of AML laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Accurately verify client identification, maintain data integrity, and follow established authentication and documentation standards.
  • Identify potential discrepancies, material changes or risk indicators and escalate appropriately.
  • Act in accordance with TD's code of conduct and ethical standards.
  • Protect TD's clients, colleagues and the Bank.
  • Complete required training and continuously strengthen risk and compliance knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by aligning to TD Model, Brand and Culture.
  • Participate fully as a member of the team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year demonstrated experience working with clients (volunteering, education, military experience)
  • Ability to work during operating hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled
  • Ability to complete required job-related training upon hire
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
