About the Role
This role provides protective security advice and support to Sydney Metro projects, operations, and corporate activities. It involves working with stakeholders to offer technical advice for security assurance and investigating security incidents.
Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Manager to provide protective security advice and associated support to Sydney Metro projects, operations and concerning corporate activities.
- Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to provide technical advice to support security assurance activities.
- Conduct investigations into incidents which may arise from security threat sources.
- Assess security controls to ensure their ongoing effectiveness.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Expertise in evidence gathering, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Ability to interpret policies and functions to provide high-quality support and advice.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in writing, proof reading and editing of reports, briefing papers, policies, standards and procedures.
- Meet Australian Government Security Vetting Agency requirements and be able to maintain a NV1 security vetting clearance.
